my hair is quite thin and is blonde with natural highlights. i've had it in a pob (a bob which goes up quite dramatically at the back) but I really want to grow it out and have my hair shoulder length all the way round instead. does anyone have any ideas on how to grow it out?

there are a couple ways you could do this......
If you like the pob cut...you could just let it grow. Make sure you get it trimmed every 4-6 weeks so your ends do not begin to dry out....but dont cut the part in the back the goes "dramatically up". After your hair has gotten to be shoulder length it should be even all the way round.
Or, you could cut the length of all you hair to the same length of the part of your hair that is the highest (in the back). This will take longer for your hair to reach shoulder length, but will grow out evenly. If you go this route, still follow the same trimming regimen.

Don't get it cut so often. Get a trim about every 4 to 5 months.
