I'm a 42 yr old woman, mother of 3. my hair is to my waist and it's wavy. i have no style to it, it just kind of hangs there. i want a change but i do NOT want to loose the length. do you have any ideas for long hair?

first off let me just say that I am 26 and have been wondering for a while why women cut there hair off by 35 and I am so happy you havent! women are sexy at all ages and long hair is always hot, as long as there is no dryness its beautiful so what i recommend is adding some streaks to it and maybe a few long layers, straighten it when you want dramatic change and having streaks in wavy hair really emphasizes tecture whether your wearing your hair in a messy updo or wearing it down.

Long hair will tend to age you... as will super short anchor-woman hair... if your hair is down to your waist, you cannot style it, there's nothing you can do to style it because it's too heavy and there's way too much to work with... Try cutting it shoulder length, and if that's too short, try mid-back and make sure you layer it. DON'T under any circumstances use straight cut bangs, if you must have bangs, try the side sweeping kind.

please get texturized, long layers everywherre!!! it will add volume to your beautiful long hair! and since your hair is wavy you can even set your hair in hot rollers, i use remington for only $20 :], just use the 2 largest rollers in your hair wit mousse.
