Need ideas & advice on African Hair styles & care?

My daughter is from Ethiopia, with softish, fine, reasonably tight curls. I would love for anyone to provide info on any free websites with instructions or own ideas on styles that would suit. I am only a beginner at braids, but can do basic cornrows.

Would like to keep her hair looking great with products that are as natural as possible. Have been using olive oil and Dove brand shampoo and conditioner.

Any advice will be most appreciated.

for now, maybe braids are best. but if you need help, go to naturallycurly.com . It's an awesome website for people with curly or textured hair!

Why don't you just french braid her hair or braid her hair in pigtails all over. At that age you don't wanna do much to it.

I don't have ethnic hair, but I know that a lot of people use this product called mixed chicks. you can look up their website and check out the pictures. i have naturally curly hair and a hairdresser used it on my hair and it made the curls more defined. it's a little on the expensive side (compared to dove brand) but it's about $13 w/o shipping.
