i'm 15 and have brown hair just past shoulder length and THICK hair. i don't get layers because it feels thicker and bangs make me get acne on my forehead. most days i wear my hair up or down...its getting old any tips to make my hair not so plain??

Gather your hair loosely in a ponytail; flip it back under and through the elastic again so it folds back over the elastic. Looks like a chic updo. Also, if you can french braid, try a rope braid. It looks unique, but the only difference is you use two strands of hair rather than three.

But have you tried straightening/curling or scrunching,

they all give a different affect for hair.

Getting a bob would be really diff, and they are in right now

Inverted Bobs, and just chin length bobs are very popular.

Although, then you cant put it in a pony

the best way to style your hair different is to use accesories. try using a head band(can be plastic or cloth) and back coming your hair right behind the head band then smooth it down a little. this will give you a stylish look. also you could try using any kind of clips or things like that. try taking your bang section or just the front part of your hair pull it back twist it and push the hair forward. this will give the section a little volume then clip the twist in. its a very cute and easy style. you could also try a messy ponytail. put your hair in a ponytail and back come it a little, then use some bobby pins and pin random section into the base of the ponytail. hope this helps..
