I'm used to a very simple style. I'm fair in complexion, got a round face and black straight long hair. I prefer to have long hair, but want a complete new look. I'm 5'4" tall and bit fat.

Maybe try getting some layers in your hair. My hair is long and I found that adding two or three layers made it more interesting and fun. For make up, try using everyday minerals. for a really new look go for short hair, to your shoulders or a little longer with layers. it will go good with your round face and if you want to bring your complexion out a little bit use light pinks and purples. green can make fair skin look sick and blue could make you look dead. good luck!

Don't cut it short! Round faces look more round with short hair. How about long layers with some highlights? My entire head is layered and it is easy to style. I just blow it dry and go out the door most days. Good luck with your choice!

I relate to you on all levels, I know you really want long hair but if you are... fluffy. like us, then short will really compliment you, it did me. But if you still want your hair to be long, then try choppy layers and red/copper highlights, under the hair.

i would have a few layers put in but don't go too short with them but bring it in around your face with framing. you could also get some highlights but stay in the lighter brown color. i wouldn't go too blond

One can never go wrong with a few long layers and some highlights for a change! It adds more excitemnet, more dimention, is easy to style. Start with that, and it you like it, then you can gradually get more dramatic with your look if you want. I wouldnt advise cutting to much or trying outragous colors right away if you are used to it so simple. Just do enough to change it so it looks fresh and new and you will feel better about yourself. My skin is fair too and I feel like you can never go wrong when it comes to makeup if you use balck eyeliner and clear lip gloss. The gloss will make your lips look soft and fuller and the eyeliner will make your eyes stand out more.

OK... how do i explain this. Well.. i recently got my hair cut and i got it layered. I got layers that went up about an inch or two. I wouldn't go over a couple of inches because it will look weird. Then i got a few long bangs (long enough to go behind my ear, yet short enough to be bangs) that blended in with the rest of my hair. With the hair cut that i got it made the layers look poofy. it really looks cute! i would suggest that you try this! hope that is helps! O yeah... for the layers, each layer had different lengths. i hope that it makes sense! o yeah my hair is medium/ long (just below my shoulder)

In my opinion the smaller the better unless you want barrel curls then the bigger ones are best

This is a long shot but have u thought about having a nice warm highlight put in? I know u said u dont suit it up and i guess cutting it would defeat the object but there are lots of colours u can have put in-- give it some depth. I think a tiara would go nice with a strapless dress.

I had my hair up with a few curls and i also had a veil with tiara but it still looked lovely when i took off the veil for the evening.
